a wedding is the only event where almost every guest is also a subject — where the ceremony and the chaos are both part of the story, and where the images you take home have to hold the weight of a day that will never happen again.
i don't direct weddings. i document them. i move through the day quietly, paying attention to what's actually unfolding — the exchange between partners during vows, the grandmother who can't stop crying, the flower girl who's already over it. those are the images people call from across a room to show someone.
the intimate and journey tiers differ in scale and depth. both include two photographers. both begin the same way: a conversation, before anything is booked, to understand what kind of day you're building.

i show up having already studied the timeline, walked the venue in my mind, and thought through where the light will be. during the day, the two of us split — one photographer close to the principals, one watching the room. we're looking for what's real, not what's posed. the formal portraits happen, but they're not the point.

all packages include an engagement session — typically 90 minutes, in a location meaningful to you. it's how we get comfortable with each other before the day that counts. couples who skip it almost always wish they hadn't.
based in the DMV. local weddings in DC, Maryland, and Virginia at base rate. all destination weddings welcome — travel, accommodation, and logistics billed at cost and discussed transparently during inquiry.
